Do you live in an area where you need storm windows? If you do then I bet you live someplace where it gets really cold or there is a lot of rain, right? The reason I ask this is because most people that live in very hot and humid places don’t think they need storm windows and they are partially right. If you live in a very hot area you don’t need normal storm windows, you need tinted storm windows.
The reason why you need tinted storm windows is because the tint will help block the sun out and allow you to see outside without a problem. Many people think that they can simply tint their regular window but what happens when it gets cold again and you want to remove the tint? You can easily remove tint but the problem is that you will have to get the window re-tinted the next year.
Cheaper – Tinting is a lot cheaper than buying tinted windows. What I would recommend is to get all your windows tinted at the same time and by the same person because you can save a lot of money on the installation if you have just 1 person do it.
Blocks out heat – If you are tired of turning your air conditioner up all the way then it is about time that you tint your windows. The problem that you have is the sun beams through your window and warms up the cold air particles. Do yourself a favor and make sure you block out the subs rays by simply closing your curtains or using tint.
Tinting storm glass windows is something new but more and more people are starting to see the benefit of it. If you want to save a little bit of money on your air conditioning bill then you will tint your windows as quick as you can.
